Two simple steps to overcoming depression

Bloggers, I want to dedicate this page to encourage people to value and enjoy life because it’s such a precious thing. I pray that those of you who read this page will be encouraged by the things I have to say. I’m now going to provide you with two simple steps to overcoming depression and steps to teach you how to value life.
1.) Readers in order to value life one must first decide that they are going to enjoy each and every day God allows them to live. Begin your day by thanking God for the day he has given you and make a decision that you will not allow anything to still your joy. Did you know that 90% of the things we worry about don’t even happen, and the 10% are things that we don’t have control over. So that means if you are stuck in traffic don’t allow your joy or even your patience to be taken so easily. I mean you being stuck in traffic is nothing you have control over and besides God might be protecting you from going to fire or a robbery that has happened at your work, school, church or wherever you’re on you way to.
2.) I want to provide you with an example that I do on a regular basis that helps me have a joyful day and hopefully it can be an encouragement to you. I have a one year daughter who is truly a gift from God. One thing that I do to have a joyful day is hang around her. I mean this girl finds joy in any and everything possible. One day when my wife and I where in bigots my daughter took one of those bouncy balls and went up to one of the employees and started playing catch with her. Instead of her wining and chasing her parents to pick her up and give her attention she went up to another adult and entertained herself. As soon as I realized what she was doing I just laughed. Then there are other times when my wife and I are out shopping and she will walk up to strangers and just starts talking to them. I mention her to say that having children can bring true joy to your life in ways you would never imagine. Those that say children are blessing aren’t lying. So I hope that this message will be an encouragement for you to really enjoy life.
